Submit Nomination Now! Spectacular Magazine 2017 Woman of Year
On Sunday October 30, 2016 Spectacular Magazine will present the Spectacular Magazine 2017 Woman of the Year (WOY) Awards to honor and celebrate the achievements and contributions of African American women or women who have made a difference in the African American community. Women will be recognized in eight (8) categories at the Spectacular Magazine Woman of the Year (WOY) Awards Gala.
Nominations will be accepted in one of the seven categories listed below from Sunday August 14, 2016 until midnight Saturday September 3, 2016. Recommendations for the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award will be accepted as well.
The Spectacular Magazine WOY Awards Gala Committee will announce the top three (3) nominees in each of the seven (7) categories on September 9, 2016. The Committee names the recipient of the Spectacular Magazine Woman of the Year Award Lifetime Achievement.
There will be an on-line voting process that begins on Monday September 26 and ends at midnight on October 9, 2016. The recipients will be named at the Sunday’s Best Spectacular Magazine Woman of the Year Awards Gala on Sunday October 30 at Sheraton Chapel Hill at 2:00 pm.
