Durham, NC— Durham County Department of Social Services (DSS) is offering a reprieve for parents who owe child support.
Durham County DSS Child Support Division announces Child Support Amnesty Day will take place this year on December 7, 2016. Durham county non-custodial parents who have an order for arrest for non-payment of child support issued BEFORE August 31, 2016 are eligible for the amnesty program. A $500.00 per case payment must be made on December 7th.
