12th Annual Community Outreach Dinner

Believers United for Progress, a 501(c)(3) grassroots non-profit organization, has been faithfully serving the Durham community since 2004. This year’s Community Dinner theme is: “True Community Life – A Shared Responsibility”
In addition to a wonderful meal, there will be entertainment, speakers, and community outreach tables. Numerous city, state and religious leaders (and those they serve) from respective faiths, traditions and communities from near and far have been invited. All events are free and open to the public as well as open to people of all walks of life.

Set up 5:00 pm; starting time 6:00 pm. please get there early to set up.
Participation as a guest, volunteer or donor is welcome.
In 2004 New Visions of Africa sponsored the first Community Dinner to commemorate Ramadan. The meal was free to citizens from all walks of life. Since then the vision has grown and the event is now sponsored by the community organization Believers United for Progress.
