Actress Reveals Secrets For Student Success In New Book
ATLANTA, GA (BlackNews.com) – Currently appearing in Boo! A Madea Halloween, actress Angela Ray is releasing her latest book, Megastar Student Leadership: Lessons I Learned as an Actress that can Help You Lead, Achieve, and Succeed.
Ray painstakingly curated this book of stories of her success and failure in the reel world along with student application in the real world. This work also features interviews with several megastars leaders to create an easy to read guide for high school and college students.
Recently appearing in the breakout hit, Atlanta, where her performance was heralded in the New York Times. Ray is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As an actress, she is best known as Carol, the shady landlord on Tyler Perrys Love thy Neighbor on the Oprah Winfrey Network, (OWN). Along with her acting career, she has been speaking to high school and college students around the country for over a decade.
Megastar Student Leadership is the second edition of Rays previous title, Rehearsing for the Leading Role. This updated version includes her Megastar Leadership Theory. She outlines the four megastar leadership styles in this theory as the producer, the director, the actor, and the extra. Christopher Play Martin of Kid ‘n Play wrote the foreword to this edition.
