Coastal Credit Union’s Priscilla Awkard Selected As AACUC Chapter President
Raleigh, NC – Coastal Credit Union’s Priscilla Awkard has been elected President of the Southern Regional Chapter of the African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC). She has been active in AACUC since 2017.
AACUC is a non-profit organization of African American credit union professionals and volunteers. Its mission is to increase diversity within the credit union community through advocacy and professional development. The Southern region consists of North and South Carolina, as well as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee.
Awkard is Coastal’s VP, Teller Center and has been with the credit union since 2011. She also serves on the board of directors of the Coastal Credit Union Foundation, and has been instrumental in planning the foundation’s Power of Sharing gala for the past three years.
