[Gallery] NC State Football Improves to 5-0 After Win Versus BC
NC State improved to 5-0 on the season after defeating Boston College 28-23. This is the first time the Wolfpack have been 5-0 since 2002. Running back Reggie Gallaspy, Jr led the way for NC State with 104 rushing yards and two first half touchdowns. Veteran quarterback Ryan Finley threw two interceptions on the day, but finished with a solid game, throwing for 308 yards and two touchdowns on 25-of-34 completions. NC State led at one point 28-10, but a furious comeback from the visiting Eagles gave the home team everything they could handle. BC managed to block a kick and a punt to really help keep them in the game before NC State would get a forced fumble by linebacker Jermaine Pratt on the two-yard line to seal the game. The Wolfpack will be on a well-needed bye week before heading down to face a very tough Clemson team on October 20th.
