Raven Little, RN

Raven Little is a Registered Nurse and native of Gastonia, NC, where she fully operates in her passion of educating patients and the community about total health and well-being. A graduate of Central Piedmont Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Raven has carried the desire to care for others in her heart since an early age. As a child, she enjoyed reading about ways to improve her own physical and mental well-being and prevent illnesses. As an adult, she remains fascinated by the human body and its ability to heal itself. Raven feels as if nursing allows her to follow her natural interest of wellness and educate her community.

Raven operates as a nurse in various capacities. She is the Director and Nurse Supervisor for a home care agency, a Staff Training Instructor, and a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross. She began her career working in a psychiatric residential treatment facility with the child and adolescent population. This experience opened the door to work within the acute setting as a Psychiatric Nurse Assessor and Charge Nurse serving both the child, adolescent and adult populations. With three years of experience under her belt, Raven obtained her nursing certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse.

When asked if she feels she is making the impact she desires with patients in her “daytime or 9-5” nursing position, she replied, “definitely.” As Agency Director and Nurse Supervisor, she visits her homecare clients on a consistent basis and provides education based on their medical and social history. She is grateful to say she has witnessed some of her clients make lifestyle changes that have positively impacted their health status.

Raven proudly serves beyond her 9-5 position. She operates as a nurse entrepreneur and owns One Drop Health and Wellness Center, PLLC in her hometown of Gastonia, NC. The wellness center offers holistic products and services focused on empowering the community to take control of their health and wellness. Services include aromatherapy, vaginal steam sessions and practitioner training, ionic foot detox, AromaTouch Technique therapies and training, essential oils, herbal baths, professional nurse coaching, free wellness classes, and health care training. Raven explained that her mission is to provide holistic health care, coaching and education focused on the physical, emotional, social, mental, spiritual, and environmental aspects of well-being. She is passionate about raising awareness to preventative care and the practice of alternative therapies. Raven’s care, coaching and education is current, relevant, and essential to living a healthy, active, and fulfilled life. Her vision is to inspire individuals to achieve their best health possible and create healthy communities collectively.

Raven always knew she would use her nursing education to establish her own business. She is now open to exploring new methods of nursing, health and wellness, and sharing them with her clients. In the near future, Raven will be offering IV Hydration Therapy for a company based in Charlotte, NC, and due to high demand for Vaginal Steam Professional Training classes, she will be adding more classes to her schedule in 2019. In the next five years, Raven envisions herself fully practicing as a nurse entrepreneur of multiple successful businesses focused on holistic services and products, teaching the community how to offer various holistic services, a successful educational and empowerment speaker, and a best-selling author. With her mission and vision in mind, Raven published an inspiring book entitled, “Purposed to Win, A Victorious Nurse Anthology”, which shares stories of nurses and how they overcame adversity, heartache, and obstacles to triumph in their career.
