21 Savage and DaBaby Going On Tour Together

21 Savage and DaBaby could be coming to a city near you! On Tuesday (May 7) 21 Savage announced that he would be touring the nation with North Carolina rapper DaBaby this summer.

The tour titled “I Am > I Was” is in support of his 2018 album with the same name. This will be the “A lot” rapper’s first tour since being taken into ICE custody back in February for being exposed as an illegal immigrant from the United Kingdom. The tour is set to begin in July and end mid August covering 20 major cities including Houston, New York City, Oklahoma City, and DaBaby’s hometown Charlotte, NC.

According to Deadline, this master mind producer behind the hit show Power is teaming up with La La Anthony on a new show called Intercepted. The project is a drama series based on Alexa Martin’s novel of the same name. The storyline follows Marlee Harper (Anthony) who has been dating an NFL-star for the last decade until their relationship suddenly comes to an end and she makes a promise to herself never to date an athlete…which becomes compromising when there’s a new Quarterback in town with his eyes on Marlee.

Kim Kardashian Helped Free 17 Inmates

Surprising people all over the internet, it has been revealed that over the last 3 months reality TV star and Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, has assisted lawyers in freeing 17 inmates in federal prisons. Apparently this is the pursuit of the 90 Days of Freedom campaign launched by lawyer, MiAngel Cody and Kim’s lawyer Brittany K. Barnett.

The Winston-Salem born producer 9th Wonder is getting acknowledged for his musical talent by being inducted into the North Carolina Music of Hall of Fame. The iconic music producer has worked with a long list of big names in the music industry, including Beyoncè, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Chris Brown and many more throughout his career. The North Carolina hit maker has produced a wide range of big projects such as:

Mary J. Blige’s The Breakthrough 2005

Drake’s Comeback Season 2007

Nipsey Hussle’s Crenshaw 2013

Jill Scott’s Woman 2015

and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. 2017 to name just a few.

 

Previous inductees include Ben E King, Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia, Nina Simone, and Shirley Caesar, amongst others.

Jhené Aiko dropped her new freestyle “Triggered” which is the first single from her unreleased 2019 album. The song addresses topics regarding her past relationships. Fans are thinking this could be a diss track aimed at her recent ex boyfriend rapper Big Sean, who she broke up with earlier this year.

Following the hashtag “#triggered” the singer broadcast the single release on Twitter by tweeting the link to the song.

Raz B Joins The Cast of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood

Sources close to production on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop Hollywood (LHHH) told TMZ that B2K member Raz B has officially been added to the cast and has had a camera crew following him around during the B2K reunion tour. It’s safe to assume he has provided LHHH some interesting content seeing that he was recently arrested in Minneapolis after he and his girlfriend had a physical altercation outside of a Macy’s shopping center. We look forward to seeing Raz B in the new season of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood!
