DaBaby Fights Man in Jewelry Store, Leaves Man With Pants Down

On Saturday (May 25) Charlotte rapper DaBaby got into a physical altercation with Cam Coldheart, another rapper also from Charlotte, in a Louis Vuitton store. The whole altercation was recorded and posted on DaBaby’s Instagram page, as well as reposted videos of Coldheart dissing DaBaby prior to the incident. The fight was documented in short video clips on DaBaby’s Instagram page, capturing the verbal altercation that led to the first punch thrown by Coldheart. DaBaby seemed to have felt very victorious after the fact, as he stated in one of the video clips that he had beaten the rapper up while recording Coldheart on the floor with a bloody nose and pants lower than his waist. DaBaby writing the caption: “When bullying Baby on the internet goes wrong.”

Whitney Houston’s Estate Plans a Hologram Tour and New Album

Since the passing of the legendary Whitney Houston, her estate has been making efforts to keep her legacy alive by proposing multiple different project ideas. Houston’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston talked to the New York Times and expressed the idea of a touring hologram and a new album of unreleased music.  “Everything is about timing for me,” Pat said. “It’s been quite emotional for the past seven years. But now it’s about being strategic,” she added.

Milwaukee Bucks’ Co-Owner’s Daughter Trolls Drake By Wearing Pusha T-Shirt

Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner, Wes Edens, appeared to be taking shots at Drake by wearing Pusha T t-shirt at Bucks Game. During Thursday night’s game (May 23) between the Bucks and the Toronto Raptors, which is the home team of rapper Drake, Mallory Edens was caught on camera wearing a shirt with rapper Pusha T on it. Many people are familiar with the beef between Pusha and Drake. They got into a feud last summer ending with Pusha accusing Drake of fathering an illegitimate child in his diss track “The Story of Adidon.”

Hazel-E Drops Diss Track Aimed At City Girls

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood cast-member Hazel-E released a track about JT and Caresha aka the rap duo City Girls! On Tuesday (May 21), the LHH star released a diss track called “Add It Up” and coming at the City Girls and calling them out for having Lil Yachty write for them.

 

The history of this beef started when Hazel-E called the City Girls out on an Instagram Live video accusing them of stealing her flow in their song “Act Up”. According to Hazel, the song is very similar to a song she dropped in 2017 called “Actin Up”. After gaining knowledge about the song, group member Caresha aka Yung Miami responded on Instagram writing the caption: “Just know when I see you, sir, I’m beating your ass on sight for speaking on my mom and my son you lame ass hoe!”

T.I. To Be Honored With “Voice Of The CultureAward” at ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards

Rapper T.I. will receive an inaugural award from The American Society of Composers, Authors (ASCAP) next month. T.I. will be the first recipient of the Voice of the Culture Award, a new recognition that was created to celebrate songwriters and artists who have had an immense influence on music and culture. T.I. , whose real name is Clifford Harris, is the self-proclaimed pioneer of the Hip Hop sub-genre called “Trap Music” and the CEO of Grand Hustle Records. Harris has been featured in films such as “Ant-Man,” and Takers” and starred in the popular coming of age/comedy “ATL”. Harris recently launched the BET reality show “The Grand Hustle” and opened the Trap Music Museum located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cardi B Cancels Shows Because of Plastic Surgery

This week Bronx rapper Cardi B was the headliner of the 92Q Spring Bling Festival in Baltimore, Maryland, but had to cancel some shows because of a plastic surgery malfunction! Cardi B has admitted to previously getting illegal butt injections and breast implants, but after giving birth to baby Kulture, Cardi decided to enhance her body structure by getting more plastic surgery done. Cardi recently revealed on stage, as well as in an interview with Entertainment News that she got liposuction and her breasts re-done. Apparently, Cardi did not take the appropriate time needed to recover from her recent surgeries which resulted in her having to cancel three shows, two at the Spring Bling Festival, and one in Texas. “Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work; she didn’t take the time necessary to fully recover from her surgery. Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body and she has been given strict doctor’s orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May,” Foster told People on Tuesday.

The Barbadian singer and Fenty mogul expressed in the interview that she had been living in London for two years now. Ri Ri also stated what she loves most about London is “walking around the block.” “When I go walking, I try to keep it a little incognito,” she told the magazine. Fans were surprised at this new information about the pop/reggae singer and did not hesitate to show it on Twitter.

On Monday (May 20) singer Ciara announced she was accepted into Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program in Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports. “I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” she captioned a picture of herself wearing a Harvard sweater. “This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement! Allen Hughes Possibly Making 5-Part Tupac Docu-series

Recently, director Allen Hughes closed a deal with Tupac’s estates granting him permission to produce and direct a 5-part Tupac docu-series, giving him full access to the rapper’s unreleased music, poetry and writings. Lasse Järvi and Charles D. King will be executive producers on the project along with Hughes. Tom Pellegrini is a producer and the production companies are Interscope Films and MACRO. No further information has been provided. In the early 1990s, Hughes worked with Pac on directing the music video for the rapper’s early hit “Brenda’s Got a Baby.” However, the two into a physical altercation in 1993 that resulted in the rapper serving 15 days in jail.
