MOM Lounge: Gerrikka Bunche To Open Premier Hangout, Retail Space For The ‘Mama On The Grind’
Raleigh, NC – Founder and visionary Gerrikka Bunche, owner of Mom Redefined presents the grand opening of the first MOM Lounge on June 8th at Triangle Town Center. The pink carpet will be down, and doors will open from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on this inaugural Saturday. Near the Dillard’s entrance and directly beside Motherhood Maternity, MOM Lounge can’t be missed, since it is also directly across from the indoor playground!
Founder and visionary Gerrikka Bunche sat down with me in front of her soon to be opened retail space and lounge. She shared about her struggles, her story, and her passion for driving the brand. Gerrika stated that Mom Redefined was born from her personal longing and desire to connect to with other like-minded moms.
She humbly discussed that she has always had really great ideas and the ability to know precisely how to help others, while happily remaining in the background. After abruptly losing her full-time job, finally, nothing was standing in her way – but time and opportunity.
Rika B., as she goes by online, has seized this opportunity and reclaimed her time. She’s hosted Raleigh’s first MOMentum Conference while continuing to produce her successful online platform, all the while maintaining her base as a mother and wife. The small things are what really matter, and considering her ability to redefine her own life, Gerrika is living up to her the mantra. “You’re more than a mom, you are a Mom Redefined.”
If you’re thinking, this sounds awesome but do I have to be a mom? The answer is, No! Everyone is welcome to shop and experience this ground-breaking retail space. Admission is free and donations are welcomed.
The back of the store will always be reserved as a special place just for moms. There is no other space explicitly designed for moms, by a mom, that aims to shift the way we all define motherhood. Becoming a mom has always involved adopting a selfless dedication to your children and family, and somewhere along the way, the vivacious woman you were before gets lost. MOM Lounge is here to save us all from this narrative by saying, no ma’am, you can do both, and we can help. Founder Gerrikka Bunche, sums it up perfectly, encouraging moms from all walks of life, to “Chase their dreams as hard as they chase their children.
