Beyu Goes LIVE At The Hayti: Dinner & Show Featuring Renowned Artist Chip Shearin

Durham, NC – On Friday, June 21st, Beyu Caffe and the Hayti Heritage Center present “Beyu LIVE at Hayti: Dinner & Show” with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee guitarist Chip Shearin. This event was specifically curated for live music lovers and will be an evening of community engagement you don’t want to miss. Beyu Caffe and the Hayti Heritage Center have been live musical venues serving the Durham community for many years. The creative arts community was buzzing with questions about when they would see another live performance from Beyu Caffe. The community spoke and these two amazing musical venues listened. Beyu Caffe & Beyu Blue President Dorian Bolden was asked what can we expect from the upcoming event.

What can community members expect when attending this event?

I think the community can expect to get the fullest flavor of Durham that they love! You get amazing music from a Durham native and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer who will bring the funk and heart of great soul music. You’re going to get delicious food served by a downtown staple, Beyu Caffe, with its award-winning Shrimp ‘N Grits. You’re going to experience the attraction of the Hayti Heritage Center and its amazing Performance Hall which was beautifully renovated from a historic church years ago and offers fantastic sound quality for a live music show. Most importantly, you’re going to automatically be among friends and fellow community members who love Durham and know how to “be you” at the Hayti Heritage Center.

“Although I love coffee, I used to think coffee was the worst tasting beverage when I tried it as a kid from my mom’s cup, and I went all throughout high school and college never trying the beverage again. It wasn’t until I was working as an adult after college that I tried a caramel latte which opened me up to trying coffee, and over the years, I became a fan of the flavor and various drinks.” – Dorian Bolden
