Raleigh To Host Inaugural Le Dîner en Blanc Summer 2019
Raleigh, NC – With great anticipation, the elegance of Parisian style, mystique and celebration will take place in Raleigh with the inaugural Le Dîner en Blanc on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Now in the 31st year, this global signature event is held in 80 cities, 30 of them in the United States. Highly sought after, more than 130K guests have attended this iconic pop-up style picnic characterized by its infamous all-white attire.
Raleigh joins host cities London, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Toronto, Nairobi, Los Angeles, and Charlotte because of the tireless efforts of local hosts Breanna Reddick, Kevin Reddick, Saundra Freeman, Elana Walker, Annette Taylor, Catherine Williamson-Hardy, and Dr. Nicole Swiner.
Breanna states, “We love the history and anticipation of the events around the world and we’re excited to bring this amazing event to Raleigh in the summer of 2019 for the very first time. Our goal is to connect our diverse community for an evening that highlights the camaraderie, elegance, southern style and lively spirit of the Capital City.”
To uphold Le Dîner en Blanc’s tradition, guests are required to dress head-to-toe in white. A large part of the excitement of the evening is the secrecy surrounding the event location. The venue for the event remains confidential until the very last moment.
