The 5’10”, 200-pound, Navarre, Fla. native led the Tar Heels in touchdowns rushing, eight, in 2017 and yards rushing, 597, on 84 attempts with an average of 7.1 yards per carry after missing the first two games due to a wrist injury.

Carter has appeared in 20 games, five starts, and tallied 1,156 yards rushing, 235 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns, 10 rushing and two receiving.

He was named to the Doak Walker Watch List for the second consecutive year earlier this month.
