How To Get Your Art Of Cool Fest RFID Wristbands & Avoid The Crowds, Rush

Durham, NC – Walk right into the Annual Art of Cool Festival on September 27th – 29th in downtown Durham. Gaining admission to this one-of-a-kind event featuring 20-plus acts at 6 venues can be just that easy. RFID wristbands will be used this year for entry (and to gain re-entry) into any of the 6 venues. RFID stands for radio frequency identification and the electronic chips in the wristbands allow ticket takers to simply scan your wristband to gain access.

Jill Scott, Run DMC, Ari Lennox, Whodini and Big Daddy Kane featuring The Symphony lead the all-star lineup. The main venue will be the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP), located at 408 Blackwell Street. Produced by The DOME Group LLC, the 2019 sixth Annual Art of Cool Festival will feature a range of R&B, Neo Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, alternative and spoken word performances, and speakers, in addition to the DBAP, AOCFEST will include 5 other venues: the Durham Armory, Motorco Music Hall, Carolina Theatre, The Pinhook and The Masonic Lodge.
