Dr. Zina Byrd, DNP, FNP-BC

Zebulon, NC – Dr. Zina Byrd, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), began her service in nursing at the age of eight. She would accompany her grandmother on numerous occasions assisting her when she visited and provided care to those who were sick and shut-in. Her grandmother would always tell her “empathy before sympathy; when you cannot place yourself in another’s shoes when providing care, it is time to quit nursing.”

Dr. Byrd, coupling her own dreams and desires with her grandmother’s advice, established His Beloved Family Practice in July 2019. Located at 4086 Weavers Pond Dr in Zebulon, the Practice is ‘a light in the darkness for comprehensive medical care.’ Offering a wide range of patient services, His Beloved Family Practice provides primary health care to patients in a comfortable, caring environment using a holistic approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the family.

His Beloved Family Practice offers secure video visits allowing patients to receive the same quality care as in the clinic, without taking time off work or finding a sitter. The Practice also provides secure online access for prescription refills, lab results, health records, and appointments.
