[RSVP] DNC To Host Virtual Town Hall With Cong. Jim Clyburn To Engage Black Men
On Thursday, May 14, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will host Making the American Dream Accessible and Affordable for Black Men, a national conversation with U.S. Majority Whip Jim Clyburn and Black male leaders from around the country on improving economic equity for Black men. As COVID-19 exacerbates the already stark economic disparities in the Black community and pushing the American Dream further out of reach, this conversation will reiterate the Democratic Party’s commitment to ensuring Black men are not left behind in the recovery. The event is a part of the DNC’s ‘Chop It Up’ series and will be moderated by Russ Parr, of the Russ Parr In the Morning Show.
This conference call will be open to members of the media and the public. If you wish to participate in the virtual town hall, please RSVP here.
