NC State’s Aislinn Konig Inks Pro Deal
RALEIGH – Recent NC State women’s basketball graduate Aislinn Konig has signed a professional contract with BCF Elfic Fribourg in Switzerland.
In her four seasons as a member of the Wolfpack and three years as a starter, Konig was an instrumental leader in a senior class that earned the most overall wins (105), home wins (60) and conference wins (49) by any four-year class in program history. The guard helped guide the Pack to back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances and three NCAA Tournament berths.
Most recently, Konig and the NC State women’s basketball team won the program’s first ACC Tournament title since 1991. The Pack’s 2019-20 season ended with a 28-4 overall record that included a program-record 14 victories in ACC play and three victories over nationally-ranked opponents.
