Black-Owned Career Fair Company Holds National Monthly Virtual Career Fairs
Charlotte, NC – Career Center of the Southeast, a national Black woman-owned career fair company based in Charlotte, is sponsoring 2 additional national hiring events set for August and September 2020, after the success of the first one held in July. Kimberly Harris, founder and CEO of the company, has held over 350 in-person and virtual career fairs since opening in 2015, placing over 1,900 people back to work through the events.
Harris is on a personal mission to assist career and job seekers to search for safe employment opportunities and has even created a Work Safe pledge that encompasses health and racial equity guidelines in the workplace.
The purpose of this event is to provide resources for people looking for employment and resume assistance. Career Center of the Southeast’s mission in 2020 is to place 2020 people back to work! They plan to hold virtual events monthly until they reach that goal!
