Herbie Hancock

Now in the sixth decade of his professional life, Herbie Hancock remains where he has always been: at the forefront of world culture, technology, business, and music. Herbie Hancock has been an integral part of every popular music movement since the 1960s. As a member of the Miles Davis Quintet that pioneered a groundbreaking sound in jazz, he also developed new approaches on his own recordings, followed by his work in the 70s that combined electric jazz with funk and rock in an innovative style that continues to influence contemporary music. Hancock serves as Creative Chair for Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and as Institute Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz.

His enormous body of genre-bending music includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums, and numerous collaborative records. His last album was a blend of pop songs and his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra that soared to #1 on both the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. Today (October 1) the Biden for President campaign is releasing three new ads that will be running in North Carolina.

James Gailliard of Rocky Mount, NC, and pastor of Word Tabernacle Church stresses that President Trump’s leadership and actions to blatantly ignore the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidance has failed the Black communities. He believes that Joe Biden is the best choice for president and will make decisions based on scientific recommendations. This is the 2nd ad (below) that the Biden-Harris campaign has launched using Pastor Gaillard.

This ad (below) is part of a series using the testimony of small business owner Celeste Beatty from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This particular ad showcases Celeste’s confidence that the Biden/Harris administration has the ability and will unify the country. This is the second of her series of ads with Celeste.

A new Jeezy radio ad, which will be running nationally and in heavy rotation in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, & North Carolina, emphasizes the importance of voting in this election. The Atlanta Rapper Jeezy, formerly known as Young Jeezy and before that Lil’ J, is one of the more visible frontrunners of the Southern trap sound that grew to worldwide popularity. His 2005 major-label debut kicked down the doors for Jeezy to become one of the top-performing commercial rappers of his time.
