[VIDEO] Meet Duke Freshman Guard DJ Steward

DURHAM, NC – Tuesday morning, Duke freshman guard DJ Steward spoke to the media ahead of the season. The Chicago-native averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds his senior year. Steward, a 2020 McDonald’s All-American committed to the Blue Devils over North Carolina, Louisville, Indiana and Texas, among others.

DJ has popped up as one of the more personable players on the team, actually so much so that Duke decided to make him the first episode of ‘Devilish’, which is a day-in-the-life vlog that follows the Duke basketball players around. He draws comparisons of Lou Williams or Ja Morant.
