Town of Cary Presents Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. DREAMFEST
Cary, NC – Join the Town of Cary to celebrate the life, work, and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at their annual DreamFest events January 16 – 18, 2021. This year the Town has added a new event – Dreamfest Food Drive.
During these challenging times, the need for food assistance for families in need in our community has more than doubled. Volunteers are needed to create front porch Donation Stations for the Dreamfest Food Drive. The Town will assist all volunteers in creating a safe way to accept non-perishable food donations for Dorcas Ministries’ and Good Hope Farm’s community food pantry. The demand for short-term food support for Cary area families in need has doubled since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional instructions and registration information here.
All registered volunteers will receive a Food Donation Station E-Kit via email that includes complete instructions on how to host a donation drive in your community.
