North Carolina Central University’s men’s basketball team put together a few runs in the second half, but the Eagles couldn’t close the gap with Florida A&M University as the Rattlers took the two-game series by a score of 60-47, on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Al Lawson Center.
The NC State men’s basketball team fell to Syracuse, 77-68, inside of PNC Arena Tuesday night. With the loss, NC State falls to 8-8, 4-7 in the ACC, while Syracuse improves to 11-6, 5-5 in the ACC. NC State committed a season-high 20 turnovers in the defeat and Syracuse recorded 11 steals, a season-best for an NC State opponent.
The Duke Blue Devils were defeated by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 93-89 on Tuesday afternoon at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Notre Dame’s Cormac Ryan scored 28 points and the Fighting Irish shot .552 from the field as the Irish held on late.
