“ATL HOMICIDE”: Bewildering Murder Of An Atlanta Mother Investigated This Week
The mid-season finale of TV One’s hit true-crime show ATL HOMICIDE airs on Monday, March 15 at 9 pm ET/8C. In this episode, David Quinn and Vince Velazquez tap into their skills as veteran detectives when they get a call to a familiar side of town. When they arrive, they find 49-year old Renee Hutchinson strangled to death with signs of sexual abuse. The killer even attempted to destroy evidence by giving the victim a “bleach bath.” Hutchinson’s adult daughter provides the names of a few male suspects, but the detectives’ investigation leads them down a shocking path.
Throughout the season, thirty-year Atlanta PD veteran Detectives David Quinn and Vince Velazquez have recounted their past homicide investigations that took place throughout Atlanta along their quest to put heinous murderers behind bars. Real-life interviews are paired with dramatic recreations from actors Angelo Diaz as David Quinn and Christopher Diaz as Vince Velazquez.
