Founder Antonio Daye grew up loving cars and eventually made it his passion to help others do the same. A native of Durham, North Carolina, Daye has dedicated his time and energy to car customization to keep a smile on customer’s faces. Daye explains “I love interacting with people and receiving positive reviews when it comes to customizing their vehicles, this motivates me to work harder within my business. I take pride in what I do, If I don’t do it right I won’t do it at all”.

Daye received educational training in car customization by attending tint and vinyl wrapping school in Florida before starting his business.  Him receiving these certifications shows how invested Daye is when it comes to his work.” It is really important to  invest in yourself when it comes to your business, Me going to school and gaining these education tools is one of the best investments that I’ve made, also with me having these certifications show people that I am serious about my craft.”

But what’s a good businessman without a great support system? Daye’s grandmother has been standing with supporting him throughout the years of him starting his business. ” Even though my grandmother wasn’t the biggest fan of the idea of entrepreneurship because of the time she grew up in, she always made sure I had everything I needed when it came to pursuing my dreams”.

Over the years Daye had some challenges when it came to running his business “Being young and trying to get people to trust you with their cars is one of the biggest obstacles I’ve  had to face when starting my business.”  From 2013 to now, Showtime Kustomz is booming with clients, now to get serviced from Daye customers have to make an appointment two weeks in advance.

As of right now, Daye is currently rebranding his business and is searching for a team of car specialists to help service his customer and doing a majority of his car customization on his own at a location, with help of friends and family sometimes.

In the next 90 days, Daye is planning to open his storefront for Showtime Kustomz.
