NC State Alumni Team Accepted into TBT’s 64-Team Field
BOSTON, June 21, 2021 – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – today revealed that Wolf Blood, the NC State alumni team, has been admitted into TBT’s 64-team field. Wolf Blood will be competing in the Columbus Regional at The Ohio State University’s Covelli Center from July 23-27.
Wolf Blood is organized by NC State men’s basketball Director of Scouting Hunter Henderson and coached by Jordan Collins, who will also be listed as an active player. Ralston Turner (2013-15) and Taylor Johnson will serve as the team’s assistant coaches. Their current roster includes:

The #7 seed Wolf Blood will take on the #10 seed Category 5 (Miami alumni) in the team’s first-round game on Saturday, July 24 at 1 pm ET. If Wolf Blood advances to the second round, they will face the winner of BC Vahakni City and Red Scare (Dayton alumni) on Sunday, July 25 at 2 pm ET. The third and final games of the Columbus Regional will take place on Tuesday, July 27. TV broadcast information will be announced soon.
Two teams will advance from each of TBT’s four regionals to compete in Championship Weekend in Dayton, Ohio at UD Arena. Quarterfinals games will be played on July 31, and semifinals on August 1. The TBT Championship game will be August 3, where one player will hit a shot during the Elam Ending to win his team $1 million.
