NCCU Invites Fans To Football Preview Event On August 21

DURHAM, NC – Fans craving college football are invited to join the North Carolina Central University Eagles for the 2021 NCCU Football Preview event, presented by Quality Care Solutions, on Saturday, August 21. Admission is free.

The day will start at 9 am with a “Back to School” backpack and school supply giveaway, sponsored by ItsDoable Inc. and Quality Care Solutions of North Carolina, in the Latham parking lot off Dupree Street. The distribution will continue while supplies last up to 10:30 am.

At 10 am, fans will have to opportunity to see the NCCU Eagles in action on the gridiron for the first time since November 2019, as the football team conducts a public practice scrimmage inside O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium.

The Eagles will open the 2021 campaign in Atlanta as they face off against Alcorn State University in the Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge on Aug. 28. The contest will air live on ESPN at 7 pm.
