K97.5 On-Air Talent Teams With Picture Studios For “Makeup Battle” Fashion Show

Greensboro, NC – Picture Studios, a North Carolina network of photography studios, has tapped Raleigh’s K97.5 (WQOK-FM) on-air talent Alexandra ‘Ayeeedubb‘ Wurst to host its inaugural “Makeup Battle” Fashion Show in Raleigh, NC on October 30, 2021. The move comes roughly one year after Ayeeedubb joined K97.5 as Music Director and Midday Host (10 am -3 pm).

“I am excited to be back in my hometown and hosting such a dope event like Makeup Battle,” says Ayeeedubb. “It’s going to be a great time on Halloween weekend with a bunch of beautiful people getting dressed up so you know we’re gonna show out.”

Makeup Battle is the ultimate contest of brains, beauty, and creativity. The YouTube series is a first of its kind with weekly competitions between makeup artists in a head-to-head format. Each week, two makeup artists put their skills on display in front of a live virtual audience hosted by Picture Studios. The winner of the head-to-head competition advances to the next round for a chance to win the grand prize of $500. The third matchup of the Victory Round airs Monday, September 27th, at 9:00 pm. The winner of this battle will advance to the grand finale in Raleigh on October 30, 2021.

The grand finale will be your chance to meet stars from the YouTube show as they compete for the grand prize of $500.
