Blue Devils Turnovers Help Fuel Miami Upset
DURHAM, N.C. — Miami forces Duke to a season-high 17 turnovers as the Hurricanes upset the Duke Blue Devils 76-74 in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday evening.
Miami started out strong on the defensive end, forcing Duke to four quick turnovers.
Both teams would head to the break tied at 32 points each.
Duke had 13 turnovers at halftime and finished the game with 17 total turnovers
Paolo Banchero finished the game with 20 points and seven rebounds. Wendell Moore Jr finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
Miami was led by Charlie Moore, who added in 19 points and three rebounds. Isaiah Wong added 15 points and four rebounds.
The Blue Devils will look to rest up before heading to Winston-Salem on Wednesday to face Wake Forest. Tipoff is set for 7 pm.
