The Unrestricted Annual Fund, also known as areas of greatest need, also saw increased donor participation with 251 donors.

Soublet

“I am extremely appreciative and Eagle proud of our campus community, alumni, and friends for their support of this year’s campaign,” stated Gia Soublet, Ph.D., vice-chancellor of the Division of Institutional Advancement. “Their generosity enables the university to fund initiatives and priorities beyond what state funding allows.”

In its fourth year, the Day of Giving included peer-to-peer fundraising, as well as competitions between NCCU Alumni Association Inc. chapters, National Pan-Hellenic Council members, and a virtual party hosted by the NCCU Alumni Association. A leaderboard was updated by the minute and hourly raffles were distributed. The university’s schools, colleges, and departments collaborated with deans and directors, and the Office of Annual Giving and Office of Alumni Relations promoted the event among their unit and alumni members.
