Steven Tanger Center Announces Broadway Season 2022-2023 Lineup

BroadwayGREENSBORO, NC — The Steven Tanger Center announced its 2022-2023 Broadway season lineup on Wednesday (March 9th) at noon EST. First Bank was announced as the Tanger Center’s second season Broadway sponsor.         

The First Bank Broadway, 2022-23 Season at Tanger Center includes:
    • Pretty Woman: The Musical: October 25-30, 2022
    • Jagged Little Pill: December 6-11, 2022
    • CATS: January 24-29, 2023
    • The Book of Mormon: February 21-26, 2023
    • Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations: March 14-19, 2023
    • Beetlejuice: April 18-23, 2023
    • Disney’s Frozen: May 17-June 4, 2023
Announcing First Bank 22-23 Broadway Season at Tanger Center

Since its grand opening, the Tanger Center has hosted a diverse lineup of entertainment, bringing 276,698 patrons to downtown Greensboro. A record-breaking 17,400 members held season seats. 

“After a widely successful inaugural season in a beautiful venue, we are grateful to bring these seven extraordinary productions to this amazing community,” said Nick Scandalios, Executive Vice President of the Nederlander Organization. 

“We want to be able to bring Broadway to Greensboro,” said Adam Currie, First Bank’s Chief Banking Officer. “We pride ourselves on keeping community first. Enjoy the season!”

Vaughan

Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughn was one of the speakers this afternoon as well. She expressed her support and acknowledged how the Tanger Center provides a first-class experience. 

“I just want to thank the staff for the amazing job they do,” said Vaughn. “The very first performance I went to brought tears to my eyes.” 

“Pretty Woman: The Musical” is slated as this season’s first Broadway play at the Tanger Center this year, from October 25th-30th.
