Frozen is a musical with music and lyrics from the producer of The Lion King and Aladdin, Oscar winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT winner Robert Lopez, and based on the 2013 film of the same name. Frozen features the songs you know and love from the original Oscar®-winning film, plus an expanded score with a dozen new numbers. Oscar winner Jennifer Lee (book), Tony and Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage (director), and Tony winner Rob Ashford (choreographer) round out the creative team that has won a cumulative 16 Tony Awards.

The timeless tale centers on the relationship between two sisters who are princesses, Elsa and Anna (Lauren Nicole Chapman). Elsa (regularly played by Caroline Bowman, but understudy Caelan Creaser was on stage on Sept. 15) has magical powers to freeze objects and people, which she does not know how to control. After inheriting the throne, Elsa flees, inadvertently causes the kingdom to become frozen in an eternal winter, and nearly kills her sister. She must sacrifice and show true love to save the day.

An unforgettable theatrical experience filled with sensational special effects, stunning sets and costumes, and powerhouse performances, Frozen is everything you want in a musical: It’s moving. It’s spectacular. And above all, it’s pure Broadway joy.

From the moment the young Anna and Elsa take the stage, you will be spellbound. The set, the costumes, the actor…and the music is just amazing. Even in the midst of glittering sets and impressive snow tricks, the bond between the sisters effectively and literally takes the spotlight. truly a show you do not want to miss!
