The annual Ultimate Homecoming Hip-Hop and R&B concert serves as one of NCCU’s marquee events of homecoming week.

The night opened up with 2 opening acts. Dreco & T.O are NCCU’s very own performing artists. They attend the university and therefore were able to hype the crowd up even more for acts to come.

Popular rapper Young Nudy headlined the concert on Thursday night. He performed the hit song “Yeah Yeah” and more. The crowd was very excited to see him come out after watching Stunna & Travis Porter. His performance was a perfect way to close the NC Central 2022 homecoming concert.

Charlotte-rapper Stunna 4 Vegas started off the night on stage for the main part of the concert. He performed his hit songs including “ Animal” in which he moved to the crowd of all rows so everyone can get the full experience of being up close to him. The crowd really enjoyed this as the other performers strictly stayed on stage, making Stunna’s performance stand out.

Classic party anthem trio Travis Porter of course had the gym shaking, literally. They got the crowd in tune as they performed all the songs that you’d hear at a regular college party.

The group Travis Porter consists of stepbrothers Ali and Quez, and their friend Strap who they met in middle school. Their song “Make It Rain” was very popular with the crowd and would say it brought good nostalgia to hear to keep their homecoming going strong.Travis Porter, Quez, Strap, Ali, NCCU Homecoming 2022, Spectacular Magazine, Lawrence Davis III
