Back In Person: 43rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Interfaith Prayer Breakfast
RALEIGH – The 43rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, presented by the Triangle Martin Luther King Jr. Committee (Committee), is back in-person after pausing the event during the pandemic. It’s your opportunity to join in the celebration of Dr. King’s extraordinary life and legacy.
The breakfast will be held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park on Monday, Jan. 16 from 7:00 am – 9:00 am. Doors open at 6 am. Breakfast is available until 8 am. The Program starts at 7:15 am. Reverend Dr. Gregory Howard, the Dean of Shaw Divinity School, is the keynote speaker, with entertainment by saxophonist Marcus Anderson.
For over 40 years, the Committee has provided this event to not only provide an opportunity to learn about Dr. King’s inspiring message of hope and leadership, but also to share stories, develop relationships with like-minded individuals, and cultivate professional connections with leaders in the business community.
As leaders and professionals in our community, it is especially important that we honor the businesses and individuals who strive for racial justice and social progress. By participating in this year’s breakfast, you will be helping to uphold this legacy and celebrate the diverse culture of our vibrant community.
The Committee is confident that your attendance at this event will have a positive impact on our community, but if you are unable to attend in person you can also watch the event on WRAL.com starting at 7 am and WRAL-TV 5 at 8 am. To learn more about the event, please visit the Triangle MLK website.
