Stellar TV’s Inaugural Black History Honors Television Series Set To Premiere
CHICAGO, IL – Today (Jan. 11), Chicago-based multimedia mega-company, Central City Productions, announced the production of Black History Honors, a brand-new television series. The screening of the series premiere will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio – hosted by GRAMMY Award-winner Mali Music and Marc Morial, president of the National Urban League. Black History Honors is a 4-part docuseries honoring heroes of the Underground Railroad and featuring musical tributes by award-winning gospel music artists, to celebrate Black History Month in February. Don Jackson, the founder of Central City Productions, shared: “The unique perspective of our Black History Honors series honors the lives and legacies of the Underground Railroad freedom activists. As well, in this Post-Covid season, where African American Museums are struggling to maintain and increase attendance, our series underserves the fact that Black History and Black Museums Matter”.
