Tamar Braxton’s Beef With Kandi Burruss Escalates; Calls Her A “Billy Goat”

Tamar Braxton has referred to Kandi Burruss as a “billy goat” and a “non-singer,” escalating the conflict between the reality stars and musicians, Parlé Magazine reports.

During an interview on Watch What Happens Live on March 19, Tamar confirmed allegations of a months-long dispute between her and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star.

The singer of “All the Way Home” indirectly acknowledged in an Instagram post from December 2022 that she was making reference to Kandi and Todd Tucker (her spouse) when she claimed an RHOA star had “threatened” her while responding to a fan question.

“It really did happen, I’m not lying. Like, I’m not looking for attention or drama or anything like that, but that sh*t really happened, it was not cute,” Tamar expressed.

On March 20 (Monday), Tamar went on Twitter and fueled the fire. “I’m DONE talking about it. Obviously, it happened. kandi wants to deflect and condone her man’s behavior by calling me a “victim”(smh)….it’s abusive and disrespectful and it’s NEVER OK FOR A MAN TO STEP TO A WOMAN!!! Fans don’t have to agree!! PERIODT!!”

Kandi claimed in a podcast interview that Carlos King, a former RHOA producer, attempted to film a biography about her band Xscape behind her back and without the group’s consent in October 2022, which is when Tamar and the Bravo pair first became embroiled in turmoil.

Later on, Tamar, who had previously performed on tours with Kandi and Xscape, defended Carlos on Dish Nation. “I don’t agree with her calling him a thief, you know what I mean? I think that’s a little like off the deep end.”

Then, in December, two months later, Tamar claimed in a social media post that she had gotten into a fight with an unidentified RHOA couple. “I was threatened by a [peach emoji] and they man… It’s BEEF and it’s a REAL BEEF cause yo HUSBAND stepped to me! Periodt!”
