DURHAM, NC – The music industry’s top talk box artist, Mr. Talkbox, will share his career journey with the North Carolina Central University (NCCU) community at the Leadership in Entertainment and the Arts Program (L.E.A.P.) Talk symposium at 10:40 a.m., Tuesday, April 11. 

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the NCCU Student Center event hall at 500 Nelson St.

Orlando, Fla., native Byron Chambers, whose stage name is ‘Mr. Talkbox’ is known as the world’s leading talk box artist. His voice has been featured on multiple Grammy award-winning songs, including “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars; Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty,” featuring Rihanna; and Cardi B and Bruno Mars’ collaboration, “Please Me.” Mr. Talkbox has also been included on gospel hits “My God” by Cece Winans; “Jesus is the Best Thing” by Martha Munizzi; “More Than A Lover Remix” by Erica Campbell; and ”Greater” by Marvin Sapp.

As a solo artist, he’s had five No. 1 singles in Japan and received a Grammy award nomination for “Feel It” for best contemporary Christian music performance/song. For a full bio, click here.
