Duke WBB Announces 2023 Non-Conference Schedule

DURHAM – Head coach Kara Lawson and the Duke women’s basketball program announced Monday morning the squad’s complete 2023-24 non-conference schedule.

Duke’s 11-game slate features eight dates at historic Cameron Indoor Stadium along with three road contests. Six of the opponents the Blue Devils will face saw postseason action in 2022-23, including five NCAA Tournament teams.

The Blue Devils tip off the 2023-24 campaign with a two-game home stand, beginning with the season-opener against Richmond (Monday, Nov. 6) before squaring off against Coastal Carolina Thursday, Nov. 9.

Three of Duke’s next five games take place away from the Bull City as the Blue Devils hit the road for matchups at Columbia (Tuesday, Nov. 14), Stanford (Sunday, Nov. 19) and Georgia (Thursday, Nov. 30) – the latter as part of the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge.

Between those respective road tilts, Duke will host Davidson in a midweek matchup on Thursday, Nov. 16 before taking on North Carolina Central for a Sunday matinee Nov. 26.

Four consecutive home games round out the non-conference ledger, with Duke opening the month of December with a battle against NCAA semifinalist South Carolina on Sunday, Dec. 3. One week later, Duke welcomes Florida Gulf Coast (Sunday, Dec. 10) and Toledo (Wednesday, Dec. 20) to Cameron Indoor ahead of the Christmas holiday before capping the month with a home tilt against Coppin State on Thursday, Dec. 28.

Duke plays Wingate on Saturday, Nov. 4 in its lone exhibition game.

The ACC schedule has yet to be announced, but the Blue Devils are set to welcome Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest to Cameron Indoor Stadium. On the road, Duke will battle Clemson, Louisville, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Official dates and times for ACC action will be announced at a later date.
