UPDATE: Arrest Made In Connection To Shooting On Broadway Street
DURHAM, NC – Sequan Malone, 22, of Durham, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in connection with the shooting on Broadway Street on October 12 (see below). He is currently being held in the Durham County Jail with no bond.

DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men injured on Broadway Street on Thursday afternoon (October 12).
At approximately 12:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Broadway Street. When officers arrived, they found one adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 800 block of North Mangum Street. A second adult male victim had been transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Both victims are being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Based on preliminary investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident. This is an active investigation, and no further information can be released at this time.
