Raleigh Police Investigate Two Broad Daylight Shootings On Monday 

RALEIGH – At approximately 3:33 PM on Monday, Feb. 5, the Raleigh Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Poole Road for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Officers and detectives are on the scene collecting evidence and determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.

This is an ongoing investigation. A suspect has not been taken into custody.

Poole Road traffic is being diverted while officers and detectives conduct the investigation.

Shooting On Bragg Street

A suspect fled the scene of a shooting near Downtown Raleigh on Monday afternoon, according to police.

Police were called to a disturbance shortly before 1:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Bragg Street near South Bloodworth Street outside of Downtown Raleigh.

Officers said the suspect and the victim were in an altercation, and the victim was shot. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect got into a car and fled the scene.

No other information was available.
