Dreamville Festival Attendees Share Experiences
The time has come again. Dreamville returned to Raleigh, N.C. for its annual festival on Apr 6-7. Originally launched in 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina, Dreamville Festival is an outdoor weekend music festival that returns each spring to the historic Dorothea Dix Park and serves as the Dreamville brand’s signature annual event for its fans worldwide.
Spectacular Magazine had the chance to catch up with festival goers about their experience.
“I’m excited to see SchoolBoy Q today, J.I.D of course, J. Cole… J. Cole my favorite rapper so yeah that’s why I come every year. I’m a big Dreamville fan,” said festival-goer Jaren on why he attended Dreamville.
The festival consisted of multiple attractions for people to enjoy including art galleries and sculptures to browse and take pictures with, food trucks, a colorful tent for relaxation, a Ferris wheel, and an area for non-profit organizations.
“I like the vibe of the festival. It’s very chill. It seems like everybody is meshing well, so I just come for the vibe mainly,” said festival-goer Erica.
People from all over the world travel to North Carolina to experience Dreamville. 100,000 festivalgoers traveled from all 50 U.S. states and 23 countries across four continents.
“Being around my people. I love that we’re all out here in different shades. Everybody got their styles going. So many different aesthetics out here. I hope to just meet new people, catch new vibes, and enjoy the festival,” said festival-goer Desarie on what she wants to take from Dreamville.
