Durham Police Investigate Fatal Thursday Afternoon Shooting
DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Rose Garden Lane on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 3:29 p.m. on April 25, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 11000 block of Rose Garden Lane. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into two other parked unoccupied vehicles. The driver, an adult male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS responded and performed life-saving measures. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators are on the scene determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.
This is an ongoing investigation and appears to be an isolated incident. Additional information will be released at the appropriate time.

The victim in this fatal shooting has been identified as Myles Amadi Gresham, 22, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
