Caminero, Bradley lead Bulls to Sunday Victory
Durham, NC – Taj Bradley dazzled in a major league rehab start, while Junior Caminero destroyed a pair of home runs to lead Durham past Scranton 6-2 in the series finale at the DBAP on Sunday afternoon.
Bradley (W, 1-0), who is rehabbing a pectoral strain, dominated the Scranton (17-9) lineup with five no-hit innings, fanning seven batters and walking just one. Caminero delivered his first multi-homer game at Triple-A, taking out RailRiders starter Yoendrys Gomez (L, 0-1) in the first inning to right-center, then again in the third, a massive 433’ shot off of the third story of Diamond View II in left-center.
Jake Mangum, playing in his first game in three weeks, returned from the injured list to triple and drive in a pair to lead the Bulls (10-17) to its second win of the six-game set.
Justin Sterner (S, 1) pitched the final two scoreless innings to register his first career Triple-A save.
The Bulls head to Gwinnett to begin a six-game road series at Coolray Field Tuesday morning at 11:05 AM ET.
