Police Chase In Morrisville Leads To Two Juveniles Arrested, In Car Stolen From Durham

MORRISVILLE, NC – Two juveniles were arrested after a vehicle chase turned into a foot chase in Morrisville on Friday morning (May 24).

Around 2:52 a.m., officers from the Morrisville Police Department were dispatched to a report of four males breaking into two pickup trucks at The Pointe at Lake Crabtree Apartments.

When the officers arrived, four suspects fled the area in a black Volkswagen Jetta. When that pursuit ended, all four suspects left the vehicle and tried to run away on foot.

Two of them were captured. One was taken to Wake County jail due to existing felony warrants from Durham. It is unclear what happened to the other two suspects.

Morrisville police have initiated petitions against both juveniles for charges related to breaking and entering, as well as possession of a stolen motor vehicle originating from Durham.
