Durham Police Searching For Gunman In Fayetteville Street Convenience Store Robbery
DURHAM, NC – Durham Police are searching for a man who officers said pulled out a gun and stole money from a convenience store in Durham.
At approximately 8:42 p.m. on May 21, 2024, Durham Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 1200 block of Fayetteville Street. The suspect was reported to have pulled a black handgun on two store clerks and demanded money from the registers and the gambling machine. The victims complied, and the suspect fled the scene.
Police released a surveillance picture of the suspect, who is described as 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, and with long braids.
