Extras Needed For Film Production In Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, NC—Strawberry Fields and Cherrix Casting are offering a unique opportunity for Triangle area residents. They are looking for hundreds of people, ages 18 and older, to work as paid extras for a film production taking place in Chapel Hill from July 8-10. 

Extras should expect an early morning call time and be available to work the entire day on the days they apply for. The production company generally works a 12-hour day, though workers may finish in less than that. 

The companies are looking for adult men and women of all diversities and ethnicities. Pay will be $134 for 10 hours and overtime for anything longer. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on set in Chapel Hill, NC, by the specified call time.
  • Participate in various background roles as directed by the production team.
  • Follow instructions and cues from the director and production crew.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and collaborate effectively with other background actors and crew members.
  • Be fully available and committed to the dates you choose to work, with no prior commitments.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Open to all ethnicities and backgrounds.
  • Must be able to work in Chapel Hill, NC, from July 8 to July 10.
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow directions.
  • Previous experience as a background actor is a plus but not required.
  • Must be available for early morning call times and be prepared for a full day of work (up to 12 hours).

Compensation:

    • Rate of pay: $134 for 10 hours of work.
    • Overtime pay for any time worked beyond 10 hours.
    • Meals and refreshments are provided on set.
