‘The Braxtons’: New Trailer For The Family’s WE tv Return As They Honor Traci

After a three-year hiatus, the Braxton sisters and their mother are back on reality television and WE tv for a new series.

Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Ms. Evelyn reunite to share new love, success, heartbreak, ongoing family dynamics, and so much more in The Braxtons. Viewers will pick up where they left off: sharing their combined rollercoaster journey from the last few years to the family’s present triumphs, marred by the passing of their beloved sister, Traci. According to the family, it was Traci’s final wish to return to the show, and fans will see some of her last moments.

Tamar will address her contentious exit from the original series Braxton Family Values. She previously swore off docu-style reality shows and blamed the network for her estrangement from her family and the public’s mixed emotions about her.

As the Braxton sisters prepare to grace our screens again, each one is embarking on a unique journey. Toni is gearing up for her Las Vegas residency with comedian Cedric The Entertainer. Trina is focusing on her passion for food and family, and Towanda is making waves in the movie world from behind the camera.

While the past may resurface, the Braxton sisters and their mom are determined that this time, reality television won’t tear them apart. Their unwavering commitment to each other and the show is a promise to the viewers. The Braxtons is set to premiere this August, and the audience can look forward to a season filled with love, drama, and the unbreakable bond of family.

“It is not overstating things to say this is one of the most significant developments in the history of WE tv and a moment the fans have been waiting for since the final episode of Braxton Family Values aired on December 17, 2020,” said Brett Dismuke, Head of Content, WE tv and ALLBLK. “The Braxtons are one of the founding families of reality television, and WE tv viewers were along for the ride through every moment of their original pioneering series, which spanned 148 unforgettable episodes. We are thrilled to welcome them back and once again be able to share these dynamic relationships and all the highs, lows, triumphs, setbacks, and drama that fall in between.”
