TV One’s New Docu-Series “Raising Fame” Featuring Fantasia Barrino Premieres This Sunday

The popular docu-series “Raising Fame” takes center stage this Sunday, August 4, at 10 PM ET / 9 PM C on TV One. It is hosted by celebrity moms Lucille O’Neal (mom of Shaquille O’Neal) and Sonya Curry (mom of Stephen, Seth, and Sydel Curry).

“Raising Fame” delves beyond the glitz and glamour to provide a unique perspective in the words of both the parents and celebrated children themselves. Winning American Idol at just 19 years old marked the beginning of a grueling road to stardom for award-winning singer/actress Fantasia Barrino. She credits her mom with helping her overcome the obstacles and turning her into the accomplished woman she is today.
