Durham Police Charge Man With Multiple Sexual Assaults, Could Be Additional Victims

DURHAM, NC – Durham Police Investigators have charged Michael Arnaz Price-McLaughlin, 35, with one count of First Degree Forcible Rape, three counts of First Degree Forcible Sex Offense, one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and three counts of First Degree Kidnapping of victims for three separate incidents in 2022. 

Price-McLaughlin, a previous resident of Durham and current resident of Raleigh, is accused of contacting three women online, meeting them in person in Durham, and sexually assaulting each at gunpoint.  Price-McLaughlin is 6’4” tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds.  Additionally, Price-McLaughlin has been charged with similar crimes by the Raleigh Police Department. Price-McLaughlin was arrested in July 2024 and is currently being held without bond in the Wake County Detention Center.

Investigators believe there could be additional victims in the Durham area who have yet to come forward.
