Durham Police Investigate Suspicious Death on S. Alston Avenue

DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is currently investigating a suspicious death in the 2400 block of South Alston Avenue.

At approximately 12:39 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, officers responded to a cardiac arrest call in the 2400 block of South Alston Avenue. When officers arrived, they found an adult male who was deceased. At this time, the death is being investigated as suspicious.

Riddle Road is closed from NC Highway 55 to South Alston Avenue while crews are on the scene investigating.
