One Man Dead Among Four Shot In The Same Durham Location In Under 24 Hours

DURHAM, NC — A man was killed in a shooting in Durham on Sunday (Sept. 15), just hours after three people were shot in the same location, according to police. Both incidents occurred in the area of Glenbrook Drive and Dubonnet Place, in a neighborhood in northeast Durham off East Club Boulevard.

The first shooting took place just before 9:15 p.m. on Saturday. Three victims arrived at a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. One of the men sustained life-threatening injuries, while the other two are expected to recover.

Around 6 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to another shooting at the exact location. They found a man with gunshot wounds, and he was taken to the hospital by EMS. Sadly, the victim later died due to his injuries.

While the Sunday shooting “appears to be an isolated incident,” according to the police, an investigation is ongoing.
